Cynthia Moon (formerly published as Cyndie Randall) grew up in Michigan and studied creative writing/poetry in her undergraduate program at Western Michigan University. She eventually earned her master’s degree in counseling. Cynthia lives with her loves and their pack of wild ones in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where their house is full of just-written songs, plants, and animal hair confetti. She’s not sure if she’ll leave Michigan someday, but the comfort and magic of the Great Lakes will always be home.
Cynthia’s work appears in numerous print and online publications, including minnesota review, Frontier Poetry, DIAGRAM, The Pinch, The Florida Review, Pithead Chapel, Crab Creek Review, Longleaf Review, MORIA, Whale Road Review, 8 Poems, SWWIM, Autofocus Lit, and elsewhere. Her poems have been nominated for Best New Poets and Best of the Net anthologies, and her work was selected to appear in Best New Poets 2022. She also served as a poetry contributing editor at Barren Magazine.
